Follow these tips to get the best out of Kram Nutrition’s organic, high-protein PB&J snacks!
Storing in the freezer will keep the nutrition intact and keep the PB&J fresh. We use ZERO preservatives and that also means ZERO sugar to preserve it. We recommend not leaving them in the fridge or at room temperature for more than a day to keep the sandwich from drying out. We ferment our bread so it doesn’t go rancid too quickly which maintains the soft and chewy texture we all love. It will stay good in the freezer for up to 3 months. We recommend eating it within the first month for the best nutrient levels.
Open up that package and get your munch on! Also, one trick we learned if your PB&J gets a little dry is to throw it in the microwave for a few seconds or toast it and it will be good as new.
Microwaving won’t give your PB&J radiation poisoning because it’s just heating up the water molecules in the Sandwich. Microwaving brings the bread to the original moist and freshness it has when it first comes out of the oven
We recommend 15 seconds on each side but it depends on how powerful your microwave is.
This is our favorite because we love the crunch factor that toasting brings. Just pop it in your bagel toaster or toaster oven until the bread is perfectly toasted.
If your PB&J seems dry, toasting is the best option to make it taste amazing again.
If you don’t have time to microwave or toast then we suggest to take it with you straight out the freezer and let it thaw out for an hour at room temperature. Another method is throw your PB&J in the fridge the night before you need it and take it out in the morning.
